The colorful world of "Showboat" with the theme "Come Lose Your Blues" sure helps do just that – this performance put a smile on audience members' faces with a cast of local talented and energetic senior adults. The 28th annual variety show, held at Charleroi High School Auditorium on October 10 and 11, had its first start in 1987 under the production of Dick McVicker.

Seniors for Safe Driving presents highway safety education programs for senior citizens 55 years of age and older. The highway safety programs are certified by the Pennsylvania Dept. of Transportation. The successful completion of the program makes seniors eligible for a 5% discount on their automobile insurance premiums, across the board, for a period of three years. The discount is mandated by PA state law.

Forever Young will hold meetings as follows during the month of November. Plans are also being made for a December 16th Christmas Party.

No meeting on November 4. It's Election Day, and our meeting room is a polling place. Be sure to get out and vote.
