A Fall Fantasy Dance sponsored by the Carroll Township Volunteer Fire Company will be held at the Carroll Township Social Center on Saturday, October 9 from 7:00 – 10:00pm. The DJ is Ralph Trilli. St. John the Baptist Church in Uniontown, will hold the 39th Annual Carpatho-Rusyn Celebration on Sunday, October 31. The festival will be held in the Parish Social Hall and parking lot from 12:00 noon to 4:00 p.m. or until sold out. Divine Liturgy for the day will be 9:00 a.m.

The event, which was presented by First National Bank, raised more than $135,000 for individuals with intellectual disabilities, autism, and behavioral health needs served by PMHF’s parent not-for-profit organization, Passavant Memorial Homes (PMH).
Read more...The RJ Sokol Memorial Golf Outing was held on August 21 at the Madison Golf Course. 146 Golfers attended on a beautiful, warm sunny day. The event raised $10,000 which was donated to the North Belle Vernon Volunteer Fire Department in RJ’s memory to refurbish the old Christmas lights.
