The Borough of West Mifflin is recruiting military veterans to participate in the community’s Veterans’ Voices project. Done as a collaborative effort by Mayor Chris Kelly and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 914 ‘Intrepid’ West Mifflin, the venture involves making videos of local veterans that highlight their military service. The recordings will then be linked to the West Mifflin Borough website. Read more...

A Ribbon Cutting and ‘Golden Spike’ ceremony was held at 10:30 am on Friday August 9, 2019 by the Washington County Commissioners, the Washington County Fair Board, and the Pennsylvania Trolley Museum to celebrate the new fairgrounds bridge and trolley platform for the opening of the 2019 Washington County Agricultural Fair.
