The Confraternity of Christian Mothers of Holy Family Parish, N. Second St., West Newton is looking for vendors and crafters for the craft and vendor show they will be sponsoring in the social hall on Sunday, November 20, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Excitement is building as Bethel Art Guild’s members prepare for the annual art show at the Galleria Mall.

Past District Governor Ed Gursky presented a check in the amount of $8,812 from the Lions of Pennsylvania Foundation. This money was donated as a Lions Humanitarian Service Grant, to be used towards the installation of an elevator system in the Bentworth Community Center Building Project.

The Baldwin Borough Public Library is the recipient of the Ezra Jack Keats Foundation mini-grant. Youth Services Coordinator Dolores Colarosa was selected as one of 63 educators from across the country to earn this grant. In conjunction with the grant, the library will host a number of programs, including a holiday art show.
