The Greater Rostraver Chamber of Commerce (GRC) is pleased to name Triple B Farms as its July Business of the Month.

For more than 30 years, Triple B Farms in Forward Twp. has offered the tastiest fruits and vegetables and the best family fun in Southwestern Pennsylvania.

In July, Triple B’s highlight crops are sweet corn and blueberries. Every weekend this summer, Pop’s Farmyard is open, with giant tube slides, a rope maze, rubber duck races, a life-size board game, a tire climbing mountain and more. See pygmy goats, ducks, peacocks and other farm animals, watch the bees in the observation beehive, and play on our farm-themed playground with a real tractor for climbing.

Some of Triple B’s other delicious crops include strawberries, raspberries, tomatoes, apples and lots of summer vegetables. In late September and October, the farm hosts a huge apple and pumpkin festival with hayrides to the pumpkin patch, 250+ pumpkin-headed characters, a “boo barn,” cornfield maze and more.

In the Country Market, savor homemade fudge, pies made with summer fruits, and fresh fruit smoothies. Triple B sells all its home-grown fruits and vegetables in the Country Market, with some available for pick-your-own, too. You’ll also find children’s toys, jarred foods like jams and pickles, gift items and homemade Amish butter and cheeses in the market.

The farm is a great place to host a birthday party or bring a Scout troop; all programming is provided. School tours for preschool and early elementary are offered in the spring and fall.

Triple B is a family farm. Ron and Carolyn Beinlich started it when Ron’s work with U.S. Steel ended in the 1980s. Now, their son Bill and his family are in business with them. The Beinlichs take pride in working as a family to provide other families with a great place to experience nature, taste home-grown fruits and vegetables, and enjoy family time together.
