During the past 10 years, Progeny Systems contributed $179,000 to The Challenge Program, Inc. to support the Program’s efforts to motivate and reward high school students in Somerset, Washington and Allegheny counties.

In partnership with The Challenge Program, Inc., Progeny Systems has introduced nearly 16,000 students to careers at Progeny and motivated sophomores, juniors and seniors in five award categories directly linked with academic and workforce success: Attendance, Academic Improvement, Academic Excellence, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) and Community Service. Nearly $120,000 of their contribution went directly to well deserving students who won an award in each of these categories.

In those 10 years, Progeny has partnered with and supported multiple high schools including Bentworth HS; Bethlehem Center HS, Burgettstown HS, California HS, Charleroi HS, North Star HS, Somerset Area HS, Steel Center AVTS, Steel Valley HS and West Mifflin HS. Currently Progeny Systems partners with Belle Vernon, Charleroi and West Mifflin High Schools.

Progeny Systems, located in Charleroi with 14 offices nationwide, is a privately-held, high-tech small business focusing on software and hardware system integration and cutting-edge research and development and manufacturing.
