Jennifer Reis, manager of Government Affairs for the PA Chamber of Business and Industry, recently traveled from Harrisburg to address members and guests of the Mon Valley Regional Chamber of Commerce.

She updated the audience on the condition of the state budget and its deficit, discussed new and existing legislation that affects our business community and expressed how communication with the State legislatures can make a difference for a better business climate in the Commonwealth. She also fielded questions and comments from the audience.
Part of the MVRCC’s mission is to advocate for our local businesses and to encourage a visit to www.pachamber.org to be informed of the latest laws and initiatives.
During the Chamber’s fall membership drive, signing up will include a free membership with the PA Chamber of Business and Industry for businesses with 10 employees or less.
