Mouths were watering this past April 23, 2018 when the ‘Pizza Station’ opened their doors in New Eagle borough. The community’s newest restaurant is located at 187 Chess Street in New Eagle.

Jim and Caralee Coulter, partners in life and in business, work together to make the Pizza Station a success.

Pizza Station owner Jim Coulter, who was born and raised in New Eagle is not new to the pizza business. His first pizzeria was called ‘Etown Pizza’ and was located in Elizabeth Borough. However, this past April Jim and his wife, Caralee, took steps to bring the pizza shop back to his hometown of New Eagle.

It is the small town support in New Eagle that brought him back. “New Eagle is its own little town where everybody helps everybody,” said Coulter. He went on to say that his customers are more than just people he does business with, they become his friends. Even New Eagle's Mayor, Chaz Fine, has shown his support to the Coulters and stops in regularly to see how things are going and if they need anything. “We’ve never had that type of support or encouragement before,” expressed Coulter.

The Pizza Station has an extensive menu beyond pizza. Hungry locals can order gyros, chicken wings, salads, calzones, french fries, burgers, and 22 different types of hoagies. “You can order several times a week and not order the same thing,” said Coulter.

On the Pizza Station's Facebook page, customers will find daily specials, and they can leave comments and ask questions for the owners. They also have contests and promotions that customers can enter such as their weekly Steelers game promotion.

Jim and Caralee feel strongly about giving back to the community. In just their short time in business, the Pizza Station helped raise over $1,800 for the Ryner Lang fundraiser which was donated to Children's Hospital. They

also sponsor the Electric Cheer Dance team; contributed to Celene’s Angels Breast Cancer Benefit, and donated 25 bags filled with school supplies for area children. Recently they helped with the David Yerkey fundraiser which raised money to take David and his family to Florida for a last chance cancer treatment. They have even received a certificate of appreciation from the New Eagle Community Action Group for their continuous support of the community.

“I feel great being able to give back,” said Coulter. “It's important to have a family business that can be helpful for the community. I don't need to be rich. I just need to be happy.”

The Pizza Station is open seven days a week. Their hours are Monday-Thursday from 10:30 AM – 10:00 PM. Friday and Saturday, they are open from 10:30 AM – 11:00 PM. On Sunday they are open 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM. They offer delivery to New Eagle, Monongahela, parts of Finleyville, Carroll Township and Elrama. They can be reached by calling 724-310-3191.
