This month the Mon Valley Regional Chamber of Commerce shines a spotlight on a very important organization in Washington County, CASA for Kids, Inc.

Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) provides a valuable service to children that have suffered abuse and neglect. This mission of CASA for Kids, Inc. in Washington County is to advocate for the best interests of abused and neglected children in the Washington County juvenile court system. By training community volunteers to serve as fact finders and speak for the children in court, children’s needs are met to ensure safety and permanency in their lives.

Here is how YOU can help:

·         Become a trained CASA advocate

·        Volunteer to assist in the office

·         Volunteer to assist with fundraising event

·         Donation-text “CASA4KIDS” to 44-321
