On May 29, 2019 the Mon Valley Regional Chamber joined Freedom Transit, Washington County Transportation Authority for a Ribbon Cutting ceremony to commence the new County Line B Bus Route that will run from Monongahela to Washington, PA.

The new route will include various stopping points such as the Meadowlands, Tanger Outlets and more. This will be the first commute of its kind to go directly from the Mon Valley to Washington and back.
“This will be a game changer for many Valley residents who will now have transportation to a whole new job market and for those who need to get to the county seat,” stated Spada, Director of the Mon Valley Regional Chamber.
