Mon Valley Safety Gear opened on July 1, 2014 at 1015 West Main Street. They sell high-quality, flame-resistant clothing from Carhartt, Bulwark, Wrangler, Benchmark and Black Stallion.

They have a huge selection of boots from Carhartt, Matterhorn, Muck, Oliver, Tingley and Servus. They also carry many styles and manufacturers of gloves, safety glasses, hard hats, hi-viz clothing, rain gear, respirators, welding gear and many other safety products.
They are open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 8:30 a.m. – 7 p.m., Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. and are closed on Tuesdays.
They store is owned and operated by Julia and Chuck Oldenburg.
