The Mon Valley Regional Chamber of Commerce (MVRCC) will honor some very special members on Thursday, September 10, 2015 at Monongahela Valley Hospital’s Anthony Lombardi Conference Center.

The annual event will begin at 5:30 p.m. with a social hour and will honor the following:
- Armand N. Ferrara, Jr. will be named the Chamber’s Shining Star, an award for business and personal achievements.
- Outstanding Business Development will honor Joseph Carone, owner of area McDonald’s stores, including the Charleroi and Bentleyville locations.
- The Excellence in Business Award goes to Susan Jo Johnson, owner of Susan Jo’s Salon in Charleroi.
- The United Way of the Mon Valley has earned the Chamber’s Regional Service Award which is given annually to a non-profit that impacts the quality of life in the Mon Valley.
The public is invited to this event. Chamber members will receive invitations in the mail but everyone who would like to attend is welcome (seating is limited). Look for the registration link on the Chamber’s website at www.mvrchamber.org or call the Chamber office at 724-483-3507.
