The loss of a loved one affects us physically, mentally and spiritually. People need to grieve in order to heal. Understanding the process helps in its progression.
Grief entails a great deal of effort and energy, and the support gained from others who have had a similar loss is invaluable.
A grief and loss seminar is planned for Wednesdays, September 14 through October 19 from 6:30-8 p.m. at the McNary Center, Canonsburg Hospital, 100 Medical Blvd., Canonsburg, PA. Rev. Cathy Peternel, Hospital Chaplain, will facilitate the group.
