The West Newton Library presents its fall interactive history series lecture on Saturday October 22 at 11:15 a.m. at the library. This fall we will be taking a look at “Tragedy and Danger on the Youghiogheny River."
We will be looking at two interesting cases that were never investigated. One case takes place in 1908 and involves a young black girl from Collinsburg and the other case dates from 1939 and involves three sisters from Collinsburg. You will be intrigued while author Miles Richards unravels these cold cases. The talk is free to the public!
