The Monongahela Area Library announced the following events and schedule.
On Saturday, December 10 from 12:30 to 2 p.m., Monongahela Area Library will host a Holiday Ornament Making Class for persons age 14 and above. See the event posting on Facebook for examples of the ornaments available to be made that day. A $5 donation to cover materials cost is suggested.
Thursday, December 15 at 1 p.m., Book Bites will discuss the book The Art of Racing in the Rain, by Garth Stein.
Storytime will be held on Tuesday, December 6, 13, and 20 at 11 a.m. and Wednesdays the 7 and 14 at 11 a.m. Miss Becky reads with the children, does small crafts, and incorporates some block play.
Color Me Happy Hour will continue to be held on Tuesdays, but the time has changed from 4 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. The program is designed for young adults through adults of all ages. The library provides some coloring pages, crayons, colored pencils, and markers.
The Writers Group is scheduled to meet at Monongahela Area Library December 7 at 5:30 p.m.
The Monongahela Area Library will be closed on December 24 for Christmas Eve and December 31 for New Year’s Eve. Happy holidays to one and all!
