The Whitehall Public Library Announced the following events.
Outdoor Yoga with Lori! - Saturdays in July @ 9-10 a.m.
Relax in the great outdoors of Brennan Plaza with Lori Martucci of The Hott Spot! Her class is an all-level yoga experience, infusing a mix of Hatha and vinyasa styles, while focusing on exploring strength, flexibility, and balance through postures and breath work.
This series runs until August 19. Cost: $5 per session. Have a yoga mat or towel and bottled water handy! No registration - payment made before each class. Location: Brennen Plaza (next to Whitehall Borough pool).
The Game Room: A Table Top Experience - Wednesday July 5 and 19 from 6-9 p.m.
This group meets twice a month for an evening of conversation, game play, and turn-taking. We are completely free —no more having to purchase overpriced coffee for the right to use precious counter space!—and we welcome Euro Games, deck building games, and RPGs. In addition to our own collection, The Game Room is happily BYOB, or (Bring Your Own Board game) No registration -- stop in!
PBS and Pajamas / Splash and Bubbles - Monday July 17 @ 6:30 p.m.
Join us as we watch Splash and Bubbles and become a Reeftown Ranger! Join us for fun evening filled with STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) activities. Kids will test objects to see if they sink or float, create an ocean gyre, discover ocean zones, draw a new ocean species and make a deep sea Anglerfish. Registration is required. Call 412-882-6622.
Tea with a Tenor: A Musical Tea Party - Friday, July 21 @ 11 a.m.
We welcome wedding singer and professional musician Tim Ruff, the acoustic crooner, to lead a musical revue of stylings ranging from American standards and classic pop to wedding favorites and new hits. During the serenade, we’ll enjoy a catered tea ceremony complete with scones, finger sandwiches, fruits, and chocolates. Tickets are $20 available at the library. Questions? Call 412-882-6622.
