The West Newton Library is a drop-off location for "Play-Doh For Patients" which has been organized by a wonderful little girl by the name of Nevaeh. Nevaeh is a 3rd grader at West Newton Elementary who is battling osteosarcoma and regularly needs to be an inpatient at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh for chemotherapy. Her goal is to collect 5,000 cans of Play-Doh to donate to Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh. Stop by and drop off your donation at the library so we can help Nevaeh reach her goal.

The West Newton Library is currently looking for new individuals who would like to join the Friends of the West Newton Library. Our group has fun organizing activities for both children and adults and is looking for individuals with new ideas. Please give the library a call and let us know if you are interested in joining!
