Library News

Fall will be here before you know it, and so will West Newton Library’s Third Annual Library Tea Party, which will take place on Sunday, September 20th at 1 p.m.

This year’s event will be held at the Le Grande Banquet Room, located on South Second Street in West Newton.

The theme this year will be a tribute to the 1940s and our veterans of World War II. Step back in time with a traditional tea that would have been held during the war. Come and enjoy an afternoon with a table set with vintage items including tea pots and linens from a bygone era.

Tickets are just $15 and are on sale at the West Newton Library and Gary’s chuck Wagon. Also you will love all the special items we have for you at our girls only Chinese auction, which will be held at the tea. We suggest getting your tickets early due to limited seating.
