Castle Shannon Library recently released its schedule of April Events.

 Spring Flea Market

Sponsored by the Friends of the Castle Shannon Library on Saturday, April 9th from 8 a.m. -2 p.m. 25+ tables. Refreshments, 50/50 raffle and bake sale. Lower level of the library. Plenty of parking. Come out and support the Friends and the Library!

Crafternoons for Adults and Seniors at the Library

What is it? An afternoon solely devoted to the joys of craft. Join us the third Wednesday of each month from 2:30-4:30 p.m. This is an informal gathering and a chance to meet new people and learn new craft ideas. Adults ages 18 and over welcome. Our next meeting will be Wednesday, April 20th - Bring an old t-shirt to recycle it into a tote bag.

If you cannot make it in the afternoon, stop at the Library that night from 6 p.m.-8 p.m.

Movie in the Afternoon @ the Library

Come to the Library on Friday, April 22nd at 2:30 p.m. to watch this true story starring Oscar winning actor Leonardo DiCaprio. Light refreshments will be served. Registration is preferred by not required. Rated R.

Superhero/Spy Training for Kids & Teens

Calling all Superheroes and Spies between the ages of 2-14! Mandatory training at the Castle Shannon Library! Training will cover disguises, strength training, agility, brain-power, and villain destruction. Registration is required to make sure enough supplies are available.

Makerspace for Kids & Teens

Makerspace is a program dedicated to the wonderful world of discovery. In this workshop, you will do only one thing – use your imagination! We will be exploring how to create, build, and play with all sorts of fun and zany materials. We hope to see you there! Ages 7-14 (Families are welcome!). Registration is required to make sure enough supplies are available. 

Wednesdays, 5:30-6:15 p.m.

Teen Spot

For ages 12-18. Stop by the Library for a free time for teens. Activities may include arts and crafts, board games, time on the Wii, or just hanging out with friends. 

Thursdays, 4:30-5:30 p.m.
