Rostraver Public Library announces upcoming events.
Rostraver Public Library will again participate in the Westmoreland Library Network's One Book program in August. The book to be discussed is Gary M Pomerantz's "Their Life's Work: The Brotherhood of the 1970s Pittsburgh Steelers, Then and Now." For more info or to reserve a library copy, please call the library or stop at the desk during library hours.
The summer reading club for children is set to kick off on June 9 with "On Your Mark, Get Set, Read" magic show with Steve Haberman. Other June events include "Arthur's Reading Race" with Mrs. Grove on the 16 and a performance of "Olympig" by Stage Right Productions. Exact times and registration forms for these and the July events are available at the library. Children must register in advance.
The book club will meet on Wednesday, June 8 at 1 p.m. with the third book in Jeffrey Archer's Clifton Chronicles, "Best Kept Secrets." New members are always welcome.
The knitters meet every Tuesday and alternate time between afternoons at 1 p.m. and evenings at 7 p.m. Please call the library for the current schedule.
