Joyce Lin, of Belle Vernon, PA, is the recipient of a Merit Scholarship from the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg.

This scholarship is renewable for the next four years, providing the student meets the scholarship criteria. Pitt-Greensburg offered nearly $20 million in scholarships to students this past year.
Lin has been accepted as a member of the Fall 2019 freshman class and plans to major in political science. The daughter of Tong and Helen Lin, Lin will graduate in June 2019 from Belle Vernon Area High School where she is active in the National Honors Society of Science, Spanish, and Social Studies. She is a three-year participant in Speech and Debate Club (president) and a two-year member of the varsity golf team.
