Jim Caldwell of South Park has released his new book ‘the sun, the moon and the truth,’ his seventh fiction paperback and the sequel to the popular and widely sold novel, Sky.

Those who enjoyed last years story about the little girl named Sky growing up on Topsail Island, North Carolina, will follow her at the end of her high school days in pursuit of her lifetime goal: to be accepted into the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado. Well qualified in all the requirements, one big obstacle stood in her way over which she had no control: how to win one of the few mandatory congressional nominations to the prestigious institution? An unlikely source becomes her advocate.

Along her aspiring journey, two different people enter her life, Sean Hogan and Lieutenant General Michael Haversoper. Each in their own way will create enough conflict to blur her dream. A traumatic experience during her sophomore year at the Academy will challenge her to solve the nagging dilemma within her heart.

For a new booklover, ‘the sun, the moon and the truth’ can stand alone with its story because the references to the first book are nicely embedded. However, those who choose to read both books, one after the other, will better understand Caldwell’s remarks. “I fell in love with my own creation as though she were my daughter. For it was Hemingway who once wrote, ‘When writing a novel, a writer should create living people; people not characters. A character is a caricature.’ I trust my readers will sense that I have achieved the objective.”

Both novels are available at Amazon.com by title and J.R. Caldwell. Or a reader may simply go to jrcaldwellnovels.com for a description and a direct link.
