The Montour Trail between the Library Viaduct and Pleasant Street (MP35.6 to 35.7), South Park Township, was closed during the week of July 18 for trail construction.

The trail will be closed for approximately three months to construct a lower gradient (4% versus the current 10% or greater) asphalt surfaced trail. Detours have been posted. This is the trail entrance at Pleasant Street before the start of construction.

The next two meetings of the South Hills Friends of the Montour Trail will be held on August 9, and September 13, 2016 at 6:30 p.m. at the South Park Township Community Room, located at 2675 Brownsville Road, South Park, PA.
