The 7th Annual Donora Smog Skate, Run or Walk has been scheduled for Saturday, October 29, 2016. Sign up to skate the 10K (6.2 miles) or run or walk the 5K (3.1 miles). Skating is weather permitting.

Registration starts at 8 a.m. with a 9 a.m. start time to skate and a 10 a.m. start time for the run/walk at the Valley Skating Center (parking lot), located at 506 Galiffa Drive, Donora. The race location is the Mida Property, Galiffa Drive, Donora. There will be an awards ceremony after each race.
Entry fee is $20 for the pre-registration deadline of October 16. All participants pre-registered by October 16 will be guaranteed a t-shirt. Late registration up until 10 minutes prior to race is $25. Make checks payable to: Donora Smog Commemorative Committee. Mail to: P.O. Box 783, Donora, PA 15033. For more information, call 724-823-0364. All proceeds from the race will benefit the Donora Smog Museum and Commemoration.
Awards will be given to the top three overall male/female skaters, runners, and walkers. The course is a nice, level, paved road and a water stop will be provided at the halfway mark.
