On August 27, the Annual Rostraver Gathering was held at Cedar Creek Park. It was a beautiful day with approximately 225 in attendance. After a short program, a delicious lunch was served, catered by D & D Foods.
Three gifts were distributed: First reservation — won by a gentleman from the Class of 1951 but he was a no-show; eldest person — won by Jim Brizzi from the Class of 1941; and person traveling the greatest distance — won by John Byers from the Class of 1957 attending from California.
Most people find this yearly event a time to meet and greet with classmates and those we knew from other classes. It is like a huge school reunion. Thank you to all who attended, and a special thank you to the great committee, which gives of their time and talents each year to keep this an annual event.
