Once again, when there’s a need for financial support, the folks at the Ginger Hill Grange roll up their sleeves and crank out another successful spaghetti dinner fundraiser.

Nottingham Township resident Peggy Lines has health issues that have created a mounting stack of medical bills with more likely to come.
On September 25, the Ginger Hill Grange hosted a spaghetti dinner and Chinese auction to help raise funds for Peggy. Mrs. Sally Holets of the Grange shared that the dinner was a complete sell-out and very successful financially for the Peggy Lines Fund. Local stores donated food and items for the Chinese auction. The dinner was so well-attended that at times it was difficult finding a parking spot in the Grange parking lot.
The Grange membership chooses several worthy projects each year and raises funds to carry them to conclusion. The list of benefactors of their charitable work is too long to list here and includes food banks, individuals having serious health issues, missions, scholarship programs, emergency response groups – the list goes on and on. Their benefit spaghetti dinners alone have netted over $70,000 and there are few area folks who have not noticed their funnel cake trailer (another fundraising tool) at community events.
The Ginger Hill Grange has spent over 100 years helping individuals and organizations in need in our surrounding community. The present membership is carrying on the tradition and promises to carry it into the future. To do this, a new influx of younger members is needed.
