The following events were announced by the City of Monessen:
Concert Planned at Monessen High School
The Monessen Music Department is pleased to present the return of their annual Holiday Concert. The Monessen A Cappella Ensemble will perform a selection of new and old favorites, to get you in the holiday spirit! The small ensemble is under the direction of Assistant Band Director Matt Shorraw.
The concert will be held on December 12, 2016 at 7 p.m. at the Monessen High School Auditorium. Admission is free, but donations are appreciated. All donations will go toward the Monessen Band’s Spring Trip to Disney World and Universal Studios. We hope to see you at this fun event!
Christmas in the Park Planned At Monessen Amphitheater
The Monessen Amphitheater Committee will host its 2nd Annual Christmas in the Park on Saturday, December 10, 2016, from noon-2 p.m. The event will feature carolers, snacks, Santa, crafts, and more! Please join us for this fun event! If you have any questions or would like to participate in handing out candy or would like to help in any other way, please email monessenamphitheater@gmail.com.
This will be the final event of the 2016 season at Monessen Amphitheater. We hope to see you next year! Wishing you and yours a Happy Holiday Season! See you in 2017!
