The Edward V. Monaghan Charitable Youth Foundation recently donated educational books and board games to the Highmark Caring Place, a center for grieving children, adolescents and their families, located in Pittsburgh.

The Foundation is established in memory of Edward V. Monaghan, long-time Monessen resident. Donations to the Foundation can be made payable to the Edward V. Monaghan Charitable Youth Foundation, c/o Citizens Bank, 1731 Grand Blvd., Monessen, PA 15062. The Foundation's goal is to provide educational and recreational opportunities for disadvantaged youth in order to enhance their quality of life.
