Monday nights are now bike nights in Elizabeth Borough. The weekly events started in June, and though the first event was delayed by rain, they will continue every Monday from 6:30 – 10 p.m. The final bike night will be October 16.

Bike 1
Elizabeth Borough Police Chief Tim Butler and Tony Ricci sell the first 50/50 tickets.

Each week, there will be food and beverages available and entertainment provided by Bill Jakub of PVU Event Group. Raffle tickets for the 50/50 will be sold, along with tickets for a brand new motorcycle, a 2017 HD Street Glide Special Velocity Red, provided by Hot Metal Harley Davidson. Each ticket is $20 and has four numbers. The drawing will be for the lottery on the night of October 16. All proceeds will go to Elizabeth Public Safety.

The bike nights are being planned in conjunction with the motorcycle dice run, scheduled for Saturday, September 30. This event will solely benefit Blaine Hill Volunteer Fire Department and Children's Hospital. Tickets to the event are $15. Those participating in the bike run portion of the event can preorder tickets up until September 9 at a rate of $20 for the rider and $15 for the passenger. Tickets bought after that day will be $25 for the rider and $20 for the passenger. Riders will be eligible to participate in the dice roll, with cash prizes for the highest and lowest numbers. If the passenger wants to roll the dice, he or she will have to pay the same costs as the rider. Non-riders are not eligible to participate in the dice roll.

The motorcycle dice run will include a variety of vendors, and there are open spots for those who want to set up a table. All those attending the event can bring a gift or donated item for Children's Hospital and will receive a raffle ticket in exchange. The raffles include gift baskets, 50/50, and games of chance. No children under the age of 18 are allowed. Guests are asked not to wear clothes with vibrant colors. All donated items must be new (store-bought and in original packaging) and safe (non-toxic).
