On August 12, 2017, local First Catholic Slovak Ladies Association (FCSLA) Senior Branch 111 of Charleroi participated in Matching Funds Activities to benefit the Festival of Nations Fundraiser at Mary, Mother of the Church in Charleroi, PA.

FCSLA raises funds for Mary Mother of the Church in Charleroi.

Slovak foods, featuring homemade perogies, halushki, and halupki were prepared and sold in the Slovak booth. The booth raised over $2,500 plus the additional $600 from the matching funds.
