The loss of a loved one takes a toll physically, emotionally and spiritually. Progression in healing comes as one better understands the grieving process.

Canonsburg Hospital offers a bereavement seminar running September 13 through October 18. Each Wednesday evening will begin at 6:30 p.m. and will end at 8 p.m. Chaplain Catherine Peternel, Director of Pastoral Care, will be the facilitator. There is no charge for the seminar. To register for these classes, please call 724-745-6100 ext 4118.

Additionally, a bereavement support dinner will be held at Canonsburg Hospital on September 15. Sharing a meal with others who understand the challenges of the loss of a loved one can be beneficial. The cost for the dinner is $8. To RSVP, call by September 11 to the above number.
