Mantle House Mission, 132 S. Water Street, West Newton, is a non-profit transitional home for homeless young adults, located across from the beautiful Yough River and open Tuesday - Saturday from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

September 9 - Mantle House Mission’s First Annual Auction

Join us for fast-moving fun with something for everyone. If you regularly come for the work day, consider coming to help set up at 8 a.m.

Other Events

• Mondays at Mantle House are classes offered every Monday night at 6 p.m.  September - Fleece blankets, jams and jellies, or fall centerpieces.
• October 6th and 7th - Five Year Anniversary Celebration - Enjoy food, music, a Chinese auction, activities, bake sale, children’s activities, dinner tickets, and a variety of vendors . Watch for details.

Volunteers Needed

Volunteers are needed on a daily basis. The Mission’s needs are for all store functions, cleaning and organizing some items, repair, intake of items, etc. We are also in need of organizers for events, such as for phone calls for donations, volunteers, and other event planners. We frequently require gift cards of various denominations for auctions, resident’s needs, and daily purchases of household items. We have been very blessed with all that we receive. Mantle House Mission appreciates the volunteers that come and those that supply offerings.

Business of the Month

Mantle House Mission has the honor of being selected by Rostraver Chamber of Commerce as their Business of the Month for August 2017. With so many wonderful businesses to choose from, we are so thankful and truly humbled by their decision.
