The pre-apprenticeship program is a work experience program for young adults, ages 18-24. To be qualifications included passing a drug test, and be a Westmoreland or Fayette county resident, and should have an interest in learning more about the construction field.

Funding is provided by the Westmoreland/Fayette Workforce Development Board. Participants will receive industry-recognized credentials, 40 hours of welding training through Local 354, heavy equipment simulator training, paid work experience, and resume and application assistance.
