Shekinah Ranch Camp of Charleroi, PA hosted their annual camp scholarship fundraising banquet on Friday, April 20, 2018.

The evening was filled with a grand silent auction, delicious food, and most importantly, the testimonies of campers and camp staff, followed by a call to action by the Pastor Thomas Ravasio, Shekinah’s founder and director.

Because of the constant prayers and support of the community and banquet attendees, Shekinah raised over $20,000 for their 2018 scholarship fund! This will allow children from lower-income families to experience the ultimate summer camp experience; one which they would not be able to afford without the help of Shekinah Ranch Camp’s supporters.

Shekinah Ranch is an equestrian and recreational summer camp program, located off Exit 39 in Upper Speers. The camp offers six weeks of three different camp programs; day camp (ages 5-8), overnight camp (ages 8-16) and ladies teen discipleship (ages 13-17). A typical camp day at Shekinah includes everything from horse training to zip lines, go-karts, rock walls, rope courses, swimming, and more!

Shekinah’s camp program will be running June 10 – August 3, 2018. The schedule is as follows:

All Girls Horse Crazy Camp

June 17 – 22

June 24 - 29

All-Around Cowboy Camp (Co-ed)

June 10 – 15

July 15 – 20

Basketball Adventure Camp

July 22 – 27

Youth Retreat Camp

July 29 – August 3

Shekinah Ranch Camp will be hosting a free open house on Saturday, June 9 from 12 p.m. – 4 p.m. at 77 Chestnut Road, Charleroi, PA 15022. The open house will include a hot dog lunch and free pony rides, zip-lining, rock wall climbing and go-karts!
