Applications Being Accepted for County Agricultural Conservation Easement Purchase Program
For landowners interested in preserving their farmland and applying for the County Agricultural Conservation Easement Purchase Program, applications will be accepted until September 30, 2018.
A Public informational workshop will be held on August 9, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. at the Washington County Conservation District office located at 50 Old Hickory Ridge Road, Washington, PA 15301.
Topics include application submission, eligibility requirements (including Agricultural Security Areas), easement restrictions, conservation plans and more. Light refreshments will be served. Prior registration is recommended by calling the Washington County Planning Commission at 724-228-6811.
