Are you curious to know more but don't know how or where to get started? Would you like to build a family tree for posterity sake? If the answer is yes, an introduction into the fascinating journey of genealogy will be presented on Monday, October 22nd at the meeting of the Peters Creek Historical Society. Meeting will be at 7:30 pm at Wrights United Methodist Church, located at 788 Venetia Road in Venetia. The program will be presented by Ruthann Seraly and Donna and Len Marraccini, members of the society, who will share personal experience in their quest to record family history. You will learn where to begin, how to record the information you find, the sources to search and how to navigate computer programs available at two local libraries. Handouts will be available and refreshments served afterwards. For more information go to www.peterscreekhistoricalsociety.org.
