The Western Pennsylvania Mushroom Club announces the following mushroom walks and meeting for October 2018.

MUSHROOM WALK: Saturday, October 13, 10:00 a.m. Pleasant Valley Park, Murrysville, Westmoreland County. Meet WPMC Past President Richard Jacob and Pia van de Venne, President of Friends of Murrysville Parks, at the parking lot. Free.

MONTHLY MEETING: Tuesday, October 16, 7:00 p.m. Beechwood Farms Nature Reserve, 614 Dorseyville Road. Photo Contest Results and Election of Officers. The meeting is free and includes a mushroom display table staffed by expert identifiers.

MUSHROOM WALK: Saturday, October 27, 10:00 a.m. Pine Ridge Park, Indiana County. Take Pine Ridge Road to the northern Park Entrance. Meet WPMC Mycologist John Plischke III in the largest parking lot, at the end of the road, near the last pavilion and restrooms. Free.
