Light-Up Night at North Belle Vernon Community Bank Park

North Belle Vernon Community Bank Park Light-Up Night was held on Saturday, Nov. 17, 2018, from 6-8 pm, and was full of holiday fun!

Sponsored by the NBV Recreation Commission, the annual event had something for everyone, and united the community. Residents from throughout the Mon Valley area travelled to attend the park’s festivities.
Festival activities included the lighting of the Christmas tree, caroling by St. Sebastian Regional Catholic School children, free hot chocolate and hot dogs, holiday music, a large bon fire to help stay warm, and of course - Santa’s arrival on the NBV Volunteer Fire Truck. Later, children stood in line for a visit with Santa and to receive a treat bag.
“We want to provide family members of all ages smiles and happy memories,” said RJ Sokol, NBV Councilman and Chair of Parks and Recreation.
