The West Jefferson Hills Historical Society is proud to present this whimsical look at the history of West Elizabeth, Jefferson Hills, and Pleasant Hills.
‘The Hidden History of West Jefferson Hills’ will be held on Saturday, January 26, at 1:00 P.M. in the Community Rooms of the Jefferson Hills Municipal Building located at 925 Old Clairton Road.
As old newspaper clippings and archived photographs are displayed, WJHHS Archive Committee members will share tidbits about local history which are guaranteed to intrigue and amuse. Whether a lifelong resident or newcomer to the area, audience members are sure to be entertained by the early photographs of the obscure places, the quirky facts, and the unexpected events that make up the little-known history of West Jefferson Hills. At the same time, attendees may tempt their taste buds with nostalgic nibbles, including warm apple crescent dumplings, which will be served with other refreshments.
