Senior Luncheons

Luncheons are held on the second Wednesday of each month and include entertainment, an interesting speaker, or interactive activity. This is a free event, but we ask that you bring a covered dish or dessert to share. Bring a friend to join in on the food, fun, and entertainment!

Days:   January 9 – “Senior Citizen Self-Defense” with C.S. Kim Karate

Learn basic self-defense techniques; mostly chair based          

Time: 12:00 Noon to 2 p.m.

Location: Community Recreation Center, Peterswood Park

Children’s Programs

MAD SCIENCE: BIRDS & BEASTS

(AGES 2 TO 6)

Explore the natural world and the adaptations that allow birds and beasts to thrive! Then, plunge into the depths of the ocean and learn about the plants and animals that live there. Instructor: Mad Science

Day: Tuesdays, January 8, 15, 22, 29                

Time: 10 to 11 a.m.

Fee: $70 Member / $105 Non-Member

KIDS REC

(AGES 6 TO 10 YEARS)

School’s out, but we’re IN! There’s no school today, so drop the kids off for fun and games at the CRC. Please bring a water bottle and wear gym shoes; we plan to get the kids moving.

Day: Friday, January 18    

Time: 10 a.m. to noon

Fee: $5 Member / $8 Non-Member

Registration Deadline: Thursday, January 17

HOMEWORK HELP (4-Weeks)

(AGES 6 TO 18)

Homework Help is designed with two goals in mind: remove stress from your family and boost your child’s confidence. Classroom teachers from The Academy of Learning will provide small group homework help. Choose 4 - one hour slots during the available hours.

Day: Mondays     Time: 4:30 – 5:30 p.m.

Fee: $80 Member/$120 Non-Member
