The Monongahela Women’s Club, a nonprofit organization is raising funds for the "Bare Necessities" project, which provides children in our schools with needs as shared by the school nurse, teachers, and counselors.

The needs may be temporary, as in the case of an accident in school, or ongoing because of financial hardship. We accept donations of new or gently used clothing such as sweatpants, tops, socks, and shoes sizes 4-16. Right now the schools are in particular need of girls' clothing.

To donate, contact the school nurse at Ringgold Elementary North or South. You may also contact committee chair, Pamela Priches at 412-651-1135 or Donna Vaccari, school counselor.

We have also partnered with the Elrama Tavern, located at State Rt. 837 in Elrama on a ‘Dine and Donate’ program. Just mention Monongahela Women’s Club and 15% of your bill will be donated to this non-profit organization. All monies raised will go to worthy causes in Monongahela and the surrounding towns.
