The Mon Valley Academy for the Arts (MVAA), an Arts and Cultural 501(c)3 Non Profit Organization, has announced their September concert schedule.

The Summer Concert Series will be held at two different locations in 2019. Chess Park in Monongahela and Palmer Park in Donora, Pa. and are Free and open to the public.

Sunday, September 8

Chess Park, Monongahela. The outdoor concert will begin at 2:00 and conclude at 4:00. Featured artists will be the ‘Coupla Graybeards’ acoustic duo performing on the Gazebo stage. This concert will also be the conclusion of the 2019 Chess Park Concert Series.

Sunday September 22

Palmer Park, Donora. The concert will feature the EQT/MVAA and Mon Valley favorite, ‘Wally Gingers Orchestra’. The orchestra will be performing Big Band hits from the Wally Gingers songbook. The band will perform from 2:00-4:00 on the main stage and concludes the 2019 EQT Concert Series.

Between June 2019 and September 2019, eight (8) outdoor concerts will have been presented FREE to the public featuring local and professional artists of varied genres. For more information: visit www.monvalleyacademyforthearts.org or email info@monvalleyacademyforthearts.org.
