Montour Trail Easement
Montour Trail Easement Location

The Montour Trail surface will eventually be constructed between the red lines shown in the photo to separate the trail from the adjacent road. The Montour Trail Council recently signed an easement agreement with the owner of the property to allow construction of 0.18 mile of the Montour Trail between Wood and Stewart Streets in South Park Township. With the signing of the easement the Trail Council now has right-of-way to extend the continuous off-road trail in South Park Township from milepost 35.7 to milepost 39 and eliminate 1.1 mile of on-road detours.
