CELEBRATE THE LAKE SERIES
NATURE SCAVENGER HUNT
(AGES 8 AND UP)
Lace up your hiking boots and join us on a guided hike around the lake in search of some fun-to-find things in nature. Bring along your camera for added fun! Children must be accompanied by an adult. Everyone in attendance must be registered.

YOGA IN THE PARK
(AGES 12 AND OVER)
Take in the sights and sounds of beautiful Peters Park during a vinyasa style yoga class on the amphitheater stage! No yoga experience necessary…all levels welcome! Strengthen & lengthen the body while relaxing the mind. Alternate location provided in case of inclement weather.
Day: Saturday, May 22 Time: 9 to 10 a.m.
Fee: $12 Member / $18 Non-Member
*Items needed: yoga mat, towel to protect the mat form the stage floor, wear several layers of comfortable clothing, water.

PIRATE ADVENTURE
(AGES 3 TO 5)
Ahoy, Mateys! Set sail on a pirate adventure at Peters Lake Park! Explore the lake for natural treasures, create a craft, and search for Captain Pete’s hidden treasure! Children must be accompanied by an adult. Pre-registration is required.

YOUTH
CATAPULTS AND TREBUCHETS FLASH CAMP
(AGES 5 TO 12)
“Have fun storming the castle!” in this modern twist! We will examine the design, construction and operation of these medieval marvels. We’ll test our design and construction against castle walls. Campers will take home a working model of a catapult.

CREATIVE KIDS: TIE DYE
(AGES 7 TO 11)
Learn to tie dye fabric to make wearable works of art! All supplies provided, including a t-shirt for each child. You are welcome to bring additional items (made of natural fibers). Please wear old clothes or a smock.

Peters Plant Swap hits the park! Gather in the shelter to swap houseplants for the first half but stick around for some plant themed games to earn prizes. An email with additional details will be sent upon registration.

SENIOR PICNICS
Picnics are held on the second Wednesday of each month and include entertainment, an interesting speaker or interactive activity. Unfortunately for safety concerns no covered dishes will be permitted at this time. Boxed lunches will be provided at a cost of $5 per person. Pre-registration is required.
