Park Enhancements And New Events Highlight Thrilling Upcoming Season At All Three Parks
Kennywood, Idlewild & SoakZone and Sandcastle – Pittsburgh’s Premier Destinations for Family Fun – are now accepting applications to fill more than 3,000 positions for the upcoming season. The parks are gearing up for their most exciting year yet, highlighted by the debut of the all-new Potato Patch® themed bumper cars at Kennywood. To kick off its hiring efforts, the properties will be hosting multiple job fairs in March and April.
“Our Team Members are the park’s greatest asset,” said Kennywood Assistant General Manager, Rick Spicuzza. “We continue to take pride in providing a positive employment experience with flexibility and fun while also offering our employees hands-on training and a competitive wage.”
Kennywood, Idlewild and Sandcastle offer their employees competitive wages with pay starting at up to $15/hour, growth opportunities and flexible schedules. All team members also receive great perks including free admission to the parks, discounts on food and retail, free tickets for family and friends, scholarship programs, and access to exclusive Team Member events.
Job opportunities available for the 2024 season include Ride Operators, Food & Beverage Team Members, Lifeguards, Retail team members and more. No experience is required, and all applicants must be 14 years of age or older. Online applications are officially available now for Kennywood, Idlewild and Sandcastle.
The parks will also host a variety of in-person hiring events ahead of Opening Day. Those who attend will have the opportunity to learn more about positions, meet park teams and take part in open interviews. Kennywood and Sandcastle will host two duel job fairs on Saturday, March 9 and Saturday, April 6 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Kennywood. Idlewild & SoakZone will host three job fairs on Saturday, March 9, Saturday, April 6 and Saturday, April 13 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
