The Bethel Park Chamber of Commerce will host a Veteran’s Lunch on November 8, 2024 at the Bethel Park Community Center from 11:30-1:30 PM. Veterans are free guests are $20.
Our overall sponsor for the Veterans Lunch this year is G. I. Plumbing, located on South Park Road. G. I. Plumbing is a great supporter of veterans and continues to support our ‘Pets for Vets’ event. Matt Garfold, owner and operator, U. S. Marine Corps, served in Iraq and Kuwait and started GI Plumbing in 2015. He has built a team who’s mission is to “Provide the Greatest Customer Experience to Ever Exist in our Industry”.
Every month the company does a Sarge’s Salute feature on their website. Friends or family can nominate a veteran with exemplary service both to the armed forces and to their community. A veteran is someone who at one point wrote a blank check made payable to “The United States of America” for an amount up to and including their life” The veteran is spotlighted on their website with an article and receives a special gift as a token of their gratitude.
Remember our Pets for Vets Program. If you know of a veteran or family member who wants a companion dog/cat the Chamber will pay for the dog working with Animal Friends to provide a great companion. Call 412-595-8361.
