Southwest Regional Police Department is pleased to announce a partnership with the Pennsylvania Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
The PA ICAC Task Force is comprised of a cooperative group of law enforcement agents on the international, federal, regional, state and local levels. The selection of Southwest Regional Police will allow officers assigned to the department's VICE unit to receive advanced training and share resources with other member agencies in an effort to identify child predators and protect potential victims.
Through PA ICAC, the Southwest Regional Police VICE unit can proactively and diligently
protect potential victims of child abuse, identify and arrest child predators and educate parents and teachers on internet safety.
