Do you like things that go bump in the night? Are chills up your spine an eerie pleasure? If so, you just might want to venture out on a dark autumn night to listen to some truly haunting ghost tales along the streets of Monongahela.

The 17th Annual Candlelight Ghostwalk, sponsored by the Monongahela Area Historical Society, will be held on Friday, October 10, Saturday, October 11, Friday, October 17 and Saturday, October 18.

Ghostwalk I is the original tour, featuring haunting tales from several of Monongahela's historic homes. It's the perfect tour for first-timers! Ghostwalk II features more haunting tales that have been added and is perfect for repeat "offenders"! Cost of the tour is $10.

For the brave of heart, the VIP tour includes Ghostwalk I or II followed by a venture inside one of our most haunted homes with stories told by the home's owners as experienced by them. Bring your camera! Previous photos taken have produced some interesting results.

Appetizers and beverages will be prepared and served by the home's owner who just happens to be a professional chef! Cost of the VIP tour is $25.

All tours begin at 7:30 p.m. and meet in Chess Park.

For reservations and more information, call 724-258-2377.
