Rain all morning and a light drizzle into the afternoon just couldn't seem to dampen the celebration of Elrama Community Day.

The huge pavilion at the Elrama Volunteer Fire Company picnic ground was packed with folks enjoying great food and music from live bands all day. The sun finally broke through in the late afternoon and warmed up everyone for a great evening.
There were activities for kids and grown-ups alike – games of chance for the grown-ups and free games for the kids. There was also homemade food for everyone to enjoy. The crowd built as they day went on and this last day of August turned out to be a great one in Elrama.
