It's hard to imagine 50 years have passed since our graduation from M.H.S. and to those who attended the reunion Aug 14, 15 and 16, it seemed like just yesterday as we reminisced about the "good old days" and laughed and enjoyed each other's company.

The three-day event started with a 'meet and greet' welcome reception at Double Tree by Hilton Meadowlands. Many people also rode the complementary van shuttle the next day to the Meadows Casino. That evening we had a dinner dance with music from the '60s, and Saturday featured a catered picnic at Palmer Park in Donora. There were 88 classmates - 137 total attendees with guests - who enjoyed the three-day celebration. Classmates received a commemorative book that included class photos, current photos, a bio since graduation and a "most memorable memory of high school." Also in the booklet were ads from local businesses, group photos from each of our 5-year reunions, and a memorial page listing the names of 56 deceased classmates.

We had such a great time that our next reunion will be in two years, when we'll be celebrating our 70th birthdays. Hope to see everyone there!
